Guidance on consent for SACT and national SACT site- and regimen-specific consent forms. Developed with support from Cancer Research UK, the guidance and forms are intended to support clinicians in ensuring that patients receiving SACT are fully informed when consenting to treatment.They are available on the CRUK website.

The UK Chemotherapy board has endorsed the e-learning resource useful for healthcare professionals prescribing or looking after patients on SACT. There are introductory modules on the mechanism of action of different chemotherapy drugs and targeted therapies, and how to manage side effects, with the more advanced content aligned to the medical oncology curriculum.
The modules are free of charge, with a certificate provided on completion. Users will need to register on the site and enrol using their email address.
